Paired Text Vocabulary Organizer: The Exceptional Eight

Use this organizer alongside your text sets and prompt students to identify words that exemplify the knowledge they gain from each text. Once they’ve reviewed the entire set, students will create a list of “The Exceptional Eight” that will help them summarize their learnings from the text set.
