Barbara Teran

Barbara Teran is an educational consultant who works with teachers and administrators to provide coaching support on focus areas to enhance and achieve optimal student growth.

Barbara believes in providing educators with opportunities for professional development through collaboration and the implementation of effective practices that cultivate student achievement and lifelong learning, as well as a positive school culture.

Barbara has degrees in Elementary, Early Childhood, ESL, Bilingual and Urban Education.  She has over 30 years of experience working with English language learners, and is passionate about creating an environment that encourages creativity, curiosity and kindness to all students on their academic journeys. 

When Barbara is not consulting, she enjoys a love of the culinary arts and takes great joy in perfecting her baking and developing recipes for her family and friends.  In addition to perfecting her culinary skills Barbara enjoys visiting Broadway, museums, and local community events in her hometown.
