Deborah Richardson is a math consultant who works with teachers in grades K-8. She provides coaching support for teachers, as well as workshops that target best practices that educators use to provide the tools that their scholars need to be successful.

Deborah believes that building the capacity of teachers will in turn build the capacity of their scholars. She lives by the creed that, “Those who teach should never cease to learn.”

Deborah has a degree in Education and is certified in Middle School Mathematics. She has forty years of experience in education which includes teaching grades 1-8, being a math interventionist for scholars in grades 4 through 8, and providing coaching to math teachers in grades K-8. Her years of experience include analyzing student data, providing the feedback to both teachers and students that will support them in their goals to become proficient in mathematics.

When she is not consulting, Deborah likes to send greeting cards to people that she knows are ill or may need encouragement. She works at a local food pantry once a month. When she has free time she loves playing games on her phone and especially enjoys her monthly game day of Rummikub with her “Rummigirls” Club.
