Margaret Barnes

Margaret Barnes is an educational consultant who works with administrators, teacher coaches and teachers to build their toolbox of strategies and sharpen their craft as an educator.

Margaret believes that as educators, we are committed to being lifelong learners and teachers. She believes John Dewey’s quote, “Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself.” Education is the one thing that cannot be taken away from you and it is important that as an educator, we leave a lasting impact on everyone we encounter.

Margaret has worked with various districts to support ELA instruction. She is highly skilled in analyzing data, planning for data driven instruction, differentiation, questioning strategies and supporting educators through the coaching process.

When she is not consulting, Margaret enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys traveling with her husband.
