Marie Behnke

Marie Behnke is an educational consultant who works with administrators and teachers to provide coaching and support specifically in the area of science education.  Focus is  on the development and use of best practices in the classroom that can foster a love of learning and the inquisitive nature of students that will lead them to their full potential. 

Marie believes that our world provides constant opportunity to ask questions and investigate situations that will allow us to engage in scientific inquiry to solve problems and discover new things.

Marie has an undergraduate degree in biology and a Masters Degree in Education.  She has many years of experience in the classroom, where her strength is in challenging students using best practices of effective questioning and in providing lessons with high levels of student engagement. 

When not consulting, Marie can be found tending her garden, planning science activities for her grandchildren, spending time at the beach and playing mahjong with her friends.
