This workshop equips educators with strategic tools and methods to enhance student performance on the New Jersey Student Learning Assessments Adaptive (NJSLA-A). It presents a comprehensive exploration of both ELA and math task types, helping teachers decode the assessment’s structure and content. Participants engage with effective test-taking strategies, formative assessment techniques, and authentic classroom integration methods. 1. Effective Test-Taking Strategies for Students
   Teachers will gain a toolkit of methods to coach students in strategic thinking during assessments, including how to eliminate incorrect responses, highlight key information, and effectively use scrap paper for showing work and justifying answers.
   
   
2. Deep Understanding of NJSLA Task Types
   Educators will explore and analyze various ELA and math task types and receive support on how to model and scaffold these items within classroom instruction.
   
   
3. Classroom Integration of NJSLA-Aligned Activities
   Participants will leave with ready-to-use, standards-aligned formative assessments and activities (such as error analysis, math tic-tac-toe, gallery walks, and four-square homework) that mirror NJSLA expectations while enhancing everyday instruction
