Assuring Success on the NJGPA for English Language Arts

This workshop begins with an overview of the NJGPA layout and expectations before participants take a deep dive into all sections of the assessment. Participants will view and discuss samples of the two task types: literary analysis and research simulation. Guided practice will also be provided for participants to create their own NJGPA-style assessment questions for both reading and writing. Teachers will walk away with new and effective strategies and activities for preparing their students.
