Building Positive School Culture

Participants will learn to cultivate psychologically safe environments for staff by identifying key behaviors, establishing trust-building routines, modeling adaptability, managing stress effectively, and fostering a culture centered on shared purpose through personal and school-wide mission statements.

We know that creating a psychologically safe space is key for our students’ success, but it’s also critical for everyone on our staff. This workshop will engage administrators in identifying the behaviors and creating the routines that allow for trusting teams. Participants will explore best practices for becoming flexible thinkers, modeling adaptability for our teams and specific tools for handling stressful situations in schools. Finally, we will delve into how we can create a culture that highlights all stakeholders “Why” through the development of personal and school wide mission statements.
