This workshop explores the critical role of positive student-teacher relationships in fostering a supportive, engaging, and productive classroom environment. Participants examine how rapport impacts student motivation, engagement, and emotional well-being, drawing on research-based evidence and classroom scenarios. The workshop also presents a practical framework for building meaningful connections with students. Through strategies, video reflections, and interactive tools, teachers learn to intentionally cultivate rapport.

  • Lack of emotional connection between teachers and students that can lead to disengagement.

  • Insufficient student motivation and participation due to impersonal classroom dynamics.
