This workshop focuses on understanding and supporting exceptional learners through a strength-based lens. Participants examine the diverse characteristics of students who face learning, attention, behavioral, physical, and social challenges. The session emphasizes viewing student profiles holistically in order to optimize learning environments and select effective, individualized interventions. Educators, service providers, and counselors learn best practices to empower students by leveraging their strengths rather than focusing solely on deficits. The workshop concludes with participants designing an action plan that can be immediately applied to their practice.
